Hans Dieter (1881 - 1968) was active/lived in Germany.  Hans Dieter is known for Painting.

The German portrait and landscape painter and painter-poet and musician Hans Dieter (1881 Mannheim until 1968 Tuttlingen), is considered the portraitist of Lake Constance.

In 1881 He moved to Radolfzell and 1882 to Constance, and from 1897, in Karlsruhe. He was artistically mainly self-taught.  From 1900 on he worked as an art teacher in Monchweiler, Durmersheim, and other towns. 

1914-18 military service in WW1

1915 teacher exam as an art teacher for high schools, study visits to Berlin, Munich, Cologne, Dusseldorf, Basel and Italy, in 1918 briefly in Littenweiler, active in Freiburg im Breisgau, 1919 summer stays, and finally in 1935 residing in Meersburg on Lake Constance, parallel more studios in Karlsruhe, Munich, Berlin and Paris.
